We are a family-owned showpig operation located in southern WI, less than 10 miles north of the IL border. Ron Smith, and his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer & Don Slagle, are the partners behind WinMor Farms. Ron Smith was well-known for raising purebred Hampshires, Yorkshires and Crossbreds in the 1990s when the farm was located in SW Iowa. Many of today’s Hampshires go back to some of Ron’s breeding, most notably, The Cherokee Lady.  This team also produced several state and national champions throughout much of Jennifer’s showing career.

Today, we are as committed as ever to working with kids and their parents to make the show ring a memorable and educational experience.  We salute the parents, 4-H leaders, and ag instructors who make sacrifices to keep the tradition of showing livestock alive for future generations.  We, too, were a family who rarely took a vacation without a show trailer attached to the truck.
